Résumé

This article reviews the academic literature about the Ethics and Religious Culture program (MELS, 2008). We focus here specifcally on the teacher. After a few words about the methodology borrowed, we present an outline of the results about the professional posture of the teacher and his assimilation of the program. In our analysis, we identify a major challenge that concerns the need for a longer and better adapted teacher’s training. Finally, we conclude by pointing out the limitations of our research, a limit inherent to our methodology and a limit specifc to the academic literature.
